The word “Lumiere” means “Light” which is so relevant to yoga, and to the longing of our souls. Light sheds truth on whatever it touches. The deep truth of the goodness of the heart. When we connect to it, it is good not only for us, but for all those around us, and for the good of the world.

The practice of Yoga, which yokes breath, life, body and spirit, is for absolutely anyone and everyone. We are all shaped differently and we all have our own stories, but we can all connect to our hearts, spirit and breath, and we can all strengthen, stretch and heal our bodies and our minds.
Nathalie has had deep and intense life experiences at a young age, which have inspired in her a great need for restoring the body, the heart, and the spirit. Her compassion for others and her passionate need for healing self and community are the driving forces in her practice and teaching of yoga.
She has been a meditator for years, and was taught in the Vedic tradition of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and Deepak Chopra. This invaluable tool is one of the quickest, most reliable, self-sufficient ways of connecting to inner peace; joy, in a world where this connection is of great relevance. “ With no peace, where can joy? ~Bhagavad Gita
Nathalie uses her background in dance, meditation, kirtan chanting and her own life experiences to create a meditative vinyasa (flow) style class that emphasizes “Sankalpa” (deep intention), breath; flow of life, and connection to the Heart center. She helps her students find their own inner rhythm, to move with grace, and to connect to the joy that lives inside of us. She is deeply grateful to all her teachers and the gift of Life!
*She is a certified Yoga teacher at the 500 hr level +. Nathalie is grateful for the continued inspiration and connection to Max Strom and Saul David Raye, whom she assisted at Center for Sacred Movement, and her late father who taught to always notice the beauty in Nature.
